When I decided to throw a birthday party for my 8-year-old daughter, she told me that did not want the run-off-the-mill return gifts like pencil boxes and stationery sets for her friends. She wanted something that her friends could use, and think of her, every time they used it. Like every parent, my daughter’s happiness means the world to me, so I set out to find the perfect return gift.
